Magical Madhya Pradesh
My dream bucket list is ever-growing and the more I think about it, the more I know that one life is not going to be enough to fulfill it all. From destinations far and wide like Machu Pichu, Marrakech and Petra to the ones close to home like the enchanting North East India, I want to do them all. I know I want to make all my dreams a reality and the best way to start doing it, is to start from home.
Madhya Pradesh is my first pick of a dream destination - starting with the ghost town of Mandu with its romantic tales of Roopmati and Baz Bahadur. I want to walk along the same paths as they did and experience the gorgeous sunset over the rocks and ruins of Mandu. Add to that the stunning ruins of Orchha, that have been preserved for long and whose pictures have already mesmerized me with their beauty. Next are the epic and gorgeous sculptures of Khajuraho, a testimony to the "Art of making love" that India has given to the world. Along the way, I want to have a tryst with the tigers of Bandhavgarh and Pench, with some cultural experiences at Jabalpur, Chanderi and Indore. Not to forget the palatial splendor of Gwalior. I can see myself feeling on top of the world as I live this dream through my imagination. I really cannot wait to head there.
Just a few days in this magical world of ruins, heritage, culture, nature and wildlife and I know that I can start taking on the rest of my dreams. Yes, team Mahindra - send me to the magical MP to start my dream journey.
